Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Rochester man on January 23 on an active arrest warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the third degree, officials reported.
Ryan W. Bufano, 40, was taken into custody at the Monroe County Jail on Plymouth Avenue at 4:59 p.m. Deputies had responded to the facility to execute the warrant, which originated from the Farmington Town Court. Bufano was then transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment through the Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) system, after which he was released on his own recognizance.
Authorities also confirmed Bufano had an active warrant from the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office. Following his release from Ontario County, Bufano was transferred into the custody of Genesee County officials to address those charges.
