The Canandaigua Airport will receive $320,150 in federal funding for pavement rehabilitation, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
The grant, part of the Infrastructure and Jobs Act, was announced by Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand. The Ontario County IDA owns the airport. Statewide, 16 airports secured a total of $40.6 million in federal funds, with Rochester’s Frederick Douglass Airport receiving the largest share—$6.3 million for terminal upgrades.
Officials said the investments will boost safety and modernize airport infrastructure.
