Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan (R,C-Manchester) has announced the kickoff of his annual pet donation drive, which begins Wednesday, January 15, and runs through February 13. Partnering with Beverly Animal Shelter in Seneca County and Happy Tails Animal Shelter in Ontario County, the drive aims to collect essential supplies for vulnerable pets and animals.

Residents of Ontario and Seneca counties are encouraged to donate items such as new dog food, cat food, treats, toys, litter, and cleaning supplies. Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:
- Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan’s Office in Geneva
- Phelps Town Hall in Phelps
- Manchester Town Hall in Clifton Springs
- Canandaigua Town Hall in Canandaigua
- Seneca Falls Library in Seneca Falls
- Waterloo Village Hall in Waterloo
“I am very excited to once again partner with Happy Tails Animal Shelter and Beverly Animal Shelter to donate essentials to pets and animals in need this winter,” Gallahan said. “The turnout from our Assembly District 131 community each year is inspiring and helps support our local animal shelters tremendously. I encourage everyone to get out and donate this year!”
Assemblyman Gallahan represents New York’s 131st Assembly District, covering parts of Ontario, Seneca, Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Broome, and Chenango counties. His office works to bring the community together to support initiatives like this that benefit local organizations.
