According to the sheriff’s office, Dicampli made multiple 911 calls on January 3 and January 8, claiming she required emergency assistance at her residence on Italy Valley Road. Deputies determined that no emergencies were occurring during either call.

Dicampli was charged with two counts of third-degree falsely reporting an incident. She was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Italy Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The sheriff’s office reminded residents about the importance of using 911 responsibly, emphasizing that misuse of emergency services can delay response times for those in genuine need of assistance.
