AMD unveils powerful new chips for 2025 across PCs, gaming, and AI

At CES 2025, AMD introduced a range of processors and GPUs targeting desktops, laptops, AI PCs, and gaming handhelds. Key highlights include the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D for high-performance gaming and creation, and the energy-efficient “Fire Range” series for laptops.


AMD also launched Ryzen AI 300 and flagship Ryzen AI Max chips, featuring NPUs for AI tasks in next-gen Windows 11 PCs. For handheld gaming devices, AMD revealed the Ryzen Z2 series, while its new Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 GPUs promise enhanced ray tracing and AI acceleration.

With innovations like FidelityFX Super Resolution 4.0 and AI-powered Adrenalin software features, AMD aims to solidify its competitive edge across multiple tech sectors in 2025.
