LeFeber re-elected chair of Livingston County Board of Supervisors for eighth term

The Livingston County Board of Supervisors held its annual organizational meeting Friday, re-electing Avon Town Supervisor David L. LeFeber as chairperson for an eighth consecutive term. Caledonia Town Supervisor Daniel Pangrazio was also re-appointed as vice chair.

“I’m honored to have the confidence and support of my fellow supervisors and to once again be elected as board chair,” said LeFeber, who has served on the board since 2002. “I’m excited to continue working to provide our residents with innovative programming and services that enhance the quality of life throughout our county.”


Committee leadership will remain unchanged in 2025. Nunda Town Supervisor Merilee Walker will continue as chair of the Human Services Committee, York Town Supervisor Gerald Deming will lead the Public Services Committee, and Ossian Town Supervisor Dwight Knapp will chair the Ways and Means Committee.

The Human Services Committee includes supervisors Susan Erdle (West Sparta), Ivan Davis (Portage), Gregory Horr (North Dansville), Donald Wester (Conesus), David LeFeber (Avon), and Daniel Pangrazio (Caledonia).

On the Public Services Committee are Mark Schuster (Sparta), William Devine (Groveland), Deborah Babbitt Henry (Springwater), Richard White (Leicester), David LeFeber, and Daniel Pangrazio.

The Ways and Means Committee consists of William Wadsworth (Geneseo), David DiSalvo (Mount Morris), Michael Falk (Lima), Eric Gott (Livonia), David LeFeber, and Daniel Pangrazio.

The Board of Supervisors meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. at the Livingston County Government Center, 6 Court Street in Geneseo. Meetings are open to the public, and a full schedule is available on the county’s official website.
