The SUNY Board of Trustees has appointed Dr. William P. Mullaney as the next president of Rockland Community College, starting June 1, 2025, following his term at SUNY Corning Community College.
Dr. Mullaney, SUNY CCC’s president since 2019, led initiatives like the Educational Opportunity Program and the Corning/Elmira Prison Education Program, focusing on equity, student success, and community engagement. He also played key roles on regional economic boards and national workforce development forums.
SUNY CCC’s Regional Board of Trustees will launch a national search for his successor as they bid farewell to Dr. Mullaney’s impactful leadership.
