Ontario resident tapped to lead branch and community development for Community Bank

Community Bank has appointed Ryan Johnson as branch and community development manager for its upcoming Webster location, set to open this summer in BayTowne Plaza at 1900 Empire Boulevard.

Johnson will oversee daily operations, lead staff recruitment and training, and drive branch growth and business development. His responsibilities also include building lasting relationships with customers and partners while delivering a full suite of personal, business, and government banking services to the Webster community.

Prior to joining Community Bank, Johnson worked at M&T Bank for seven and a half years in roles such as senior relationship banker and business banking operations manager. In those positions, he managed a local team responsible for business loan processing and supported daily branch operations. He previously served as non-escrow team lead at CoreLogic and brings expertise in commercial lending, financial wellness, fraud review, and action planning.

Active in his community, Johnson frequently volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. He lives in Ontario with his family.
