CIViC Heritage invites the community to kick off the holiday season with its 12th Annual Festival of Trees on Saturday, December 14, from 1 to 4 PM at the History Center on South Street.
This festive event will feature beautifully decorated Christmas trees donated and adorned by local sponsors. Visitors can enjoy an open house, silent auction, and raffles while bidding on their favorite trees. Leading up to the festival, many trees will be showcased at local businesses, culminating in the full display at the History Center on the day of the event. The highest winning bids will be announced at 4 PM.
The celebration also includes refreshments, live music by the Oswego Valley Fiddlers, and a special visit from Santa Claus. It’s a perfect opportunity to gather with neighbors and support local businesses while embracing the holiday spirit.
Proceeds from the silent auction will directly benefit CIViC Heritage’s operational expenses, ensuring its continued role in preserving and celebrating local history.
