Fifty-seven police officer recruits, representing multiple law enforcement agencies across the region, celebrated a significant milestone on November 22 by completing the classroom and practical instruction portion of their training at the Monroe County Public Training Facility.

The recruits, members of Monroe County Police Academy Class #75, will now move into the supervised field training phase, a critical step on their journey to becoming certified police officers. The achievement was marked with a formal “Badge Pinning” ceremony to honor their hard work and commitment to public service.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office welcomed Robert Craine, one of the academy graduates, as he begins his career with the department.
“We are proud to have Robert join our team,” the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office stated, offering congratulations to him and the entire class of new recruits.
The event underscores the importance of ongoing training and preparation for law enforcement professionals dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of their communities.
