The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested a Williamson man early Saturday after a traffic stop involving an ATV in the town of Palmyra.
Deputies said Paul Winslow, 57, of Russell Road, was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08% or higher, failure to stop at a stop sign, possession of an open container, operating an ATV on a public highway and having an unregistered ATV.
The stop happened at about 2:20 a.m. July 11, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies said Winslow was stopped for several violations and was later found to be operating the ATV while intoxicated. He was taken to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, where he voluntarily submitted to a chemical test that showed a BAC of .15%, deputies said.
Winslow was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Palmyra Town Court at a later date.
