Two people have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery on October 1 in North Dansville, the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office reported. Tabitha Belz, 32, of Hornell, and Jamie Wolfanger, 40, of North Dansville, allegedly displayed what appeared to be a handgun and stole money from a victim on Hartman Road.
After being identified as suspects, the pair was located in Rochester by local police and taken into custody. Wolfanger was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree menacing, and petit larceny, while Belz faces charges of first-degree robbery and petit larceny.
Wolfanger, who has three prior felony convictions, was denied bail and remains in the Livingston County Jail. Belz is being held on $10,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond. The investigation involved assistance from the Dansville and Rochester police departments, as well as Livingston County’s Forensic Identification Unit.
