Schuyler County’s annual Farm Tour Day is returning with a fresh name and new digital presence. Now called “Growin’ Around the Glen: Schuyler County Farm Tour Day,” the event will take place on Saturday, September 28. Organizers have also launched a dedicated website, glengrown.com, which will provide visitors with an easy way to explore participating farms, along with links to farm locations and social media.
The event, organized by Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce, highlights the county’s rich agritourism. Visitors can tour farms, sample local products, and experience farm life through tastings, demonstrations, and animal encounters. Items like produce, cheeses, apples, and alpaca products will be available for purchase.
More details, including a list of participating farms, will be shared on the glengrown.com website and CCE Schuyler’s Facebook page in the coming weeks.
