Seneca Falls woman arrested for criminal mischief after August incident causes damage

A Seneca Falls woman was arrested following a domestic incident in Waterloo, where she allegedly caused significant damage to a vehicle.

Ashley Swarey, 35, was taken into custody and charged with third-degree criminal mischief. The arrest followed an incident on August 17, during which Swarey allegedly damaged the windshield of a vehicle, causing approximately $950 in damages.

Swarey was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment. An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim. The Waterloo Police Department was assisted by the Seneca Falls Police Department and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
