Two cannabis shops in Corning, New York, were shut down last week after an investigation revealed they were selling unlicensed cannabis. Mosa’s on Market Street and Gas City Glass on Bridge Street were targeted in a joint operation by the Corning City Police, New York State Police, and the New York State Office of Cannabis Management.
Authorities confiscated cannabis flower, edibles, concentrates, cash, and business records from both locations. The shops have been ordered to remain closed by the Office of Cannabis Management and face potential civil penalties if they attempt to resume operations.
Corning police have committed to ongoing efforts to crack down on unlicensed cannabis sales within the city.
