One person had to be extricated and was airlifted from the scene of a serious crash in Cayuga County late-Sunday.
According to our partners at the Cayuga-Seneca Fire Wire, Montezuma Rescue, Throop Ambulance, and Auburn Ambulance were dispatched to Carner and Fuller roads for a car vs tree.
Upon arrival, first responders found one person trapped, requiring extrication. As first responders worked to free the person, who appeared to suffer serious injuries, Life Net was requested to the scene.
Fuller Road was blocked off at Turnpike Road while crews worked the scene.
After approximately 30 minutes of work by first responders they were able to get the person out and LifeNet took them to an area hospital.
