Deputies say a Cato woman was arrested for DWI after an early-morning crash on Sunday.
Around 1:46 AM, Cayuga County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident near Shepherd Road and Ryan Road in the Town of Brutus. Deputies found a vehicle had crossed the northbound lane, exited the roadway, and struck a guardrail and tree.
The driver, Tiffany E. Remp, 37, of Cato, was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Remp was charged with DWI, Aggravated DWI, and other traffic infractions. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Brutus Court on August 6, 2024, at 7 PM.
