Seneca Lake Pure Waters Association will hold its annual auction fundraiser starting July 12 and ending on July 25, the night of the Celebrate Seneca Gala. This event helps fund the non-profit’s mission to protect and preserve Seneca Lake’s water quality.
Emily DeBolt, the association’s director, praised local businesses for their generosity. “Everyone benefits from a clean and healthy lake,” she said. Items up for auction include a VIP wine tasting at Fox Run Vineyards, a weekend stay at Sampson State Park, a fishing charter, and a tour on the Finger Lakes Cycle Boat. The Celebrate Seneca Gala will take place on July 25 at the Harbor Hotel in Watkins Glen, featuring drinks, dinner, and dancing. Tickets are $100 and support Pure Waters’ programs to maintain Seneca Lake’s water quality. For more information, visit senecalake.org.
