Seneca County officials will get a closer look at the future of local tourism development during a special committee meeting next week.
The county’s Economic Development, Tourism and Housing Committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday, April 21 at 10 a.m., with a presentation of the Seneca County Tourism Strategic Plan leading the agenda.
Consultants from Young Strategies are expected to deliver the plan and outline recommendations aimed at shaping tourism efforts across the county. The session is listed for discussion and feedback only, with no formal action planned.
The committee, chaired by Supervisor Trout with Vice-Chair Latini and members Shipley, Partee and Hayes, will use the meeting to review the plan and provide input that could influence future policy and marketing decisions tied to tourism growth.
No additional new or unfinished business is detailed on the tentative agenda.
