An American Airlines flight headed to Manchester, New Hampshire, was diverted to Buffalo after a passenger allegedly exposed himself and urinated in the aisle. The incident led to the arrest of Neil McCarthy, 25, from Oregon.

Upon landing in Buffalo, Niagara Frontier Transit Authority Police boarded the plane at Gate 2. A flight attendant confirmed McCarthy’s actions, and he was taken into custody. McCarthy faces charges of indecent exposure, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York.

If convicted, McCarthy could face up to six months in prison and a $5,000 fine. He made an initial court appearance and was released on his own recognizance.
