Police in Canandaigua arrested a local woman for making a terroristic threat and falsely reporting an incident after an investigation stemming from a situation earlier this week.
Sherlla Denis, 40, was arrested on June 28 for making a terroristic threat, falsely reporting an incident, and resisting arrest. The arrest followed a June 26 incident where Denis allegedly threatened to blow up the Ontario County Social Services Building and harm its employees.
When officers arrived to take her into custody, Denis resisted arrest. She was subsequently placed in the Ontario County Jail and will face charges in Hopewell Town Court and Canandaigua City Court.
