Senator Pam Helming celebrated the inclusion of Gro-Moore Farms in the New York State Historic Business Preservation Registry. The registry highlights businesses that have operated for at least 50 years and contributed to their community’s heritage.
Gro-Moore Farms, a three-generation family business, has been a community staple since 1917. George Moore Jr., his wife Brenda, and their son Tom manage the farm and strawberry fields, while Jack Moore and his wife Kathy oversee the blueberry fields.
“Gro-Moore Farms embodies family dedication and community engagement,” said Senator Helming. “Their sustainable agriculture and rich history make them a cherished part of the Finger Lakes Region.”
George Moore Jr. added, “We are grateful for our community’s support over the past 50 years and look forward to many more.”
