A Farmington man is facing a traffic citation after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in the Town of Arcadia left a woman injured.
Deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Whitbeck Road and Fleshman Road at approximately 11:18 a.m. on July 2. Their investigation determined that the at-fault driver, William D. Mack of Terri Drive, had unsafely backed into the roadway, causing another vehicle to collide with his.
The operator of the second vehicle, 47-year-old Mary Natrigo, sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Newark-Wayne Hospital for treatment.
Mack was issued a traffic ticket and is scheduled to answer the citation in Arcadia Town Court.
The Newark Fire Department and Wayne County EMS assisted deputies at the scene.
