The Yates County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-and-run crash that injured a motorcyclist on Italy Valley Road near the Ontario County line. The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Friday.
Joshua A. Presher, 30, of Prattsburg, was riding his motorcycle northbound when a southbound truck crossed the center line and struck him head-on. The truck fled the scene, last seen heading south towards Naples, NY. Presher sustained shoulder injuries and various lacerations.
Authorities are looking for a white 2015-2019 GMC Sierra 3500 1-ton dually with front-end damage. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Yates County Sheriff’s Office at 315-536-4438 or use the “Submit a Tip” feature on the Sheriff’s App.
