A three-vehicle crash at the intersection of state Routes 414 and 5 in Seneca Falls sent one driver to the hospital Sunday afternoon, according to town police.
The crash happened around 4:38 p.m., and police said a westbound driver failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic.
The first collision caused the second vehicle to go out of control and hit a third vehicle.
EMS personnel checked the second vehicle’s driver at the scene for chest pain.
The third vehicle’s driver was taken to Geneva General Hospital with minor injuries.
The road closed briefly and reopened a short time later.
Seneca Falls firefighters and North Seneca Ambulance assisted at the scene.
