The highlight of the festival, the Cardboard Boat Regatta, starts at 2:00 p.m. Participants will race handmade cardboard boats through Seneca Harbor. Before the race, attendees can view and vote for their favorite boats at the Concourse de Cardboard.

“This event has been a beloved tradition for 31 years, celebrating the start of summer,” said Laurie DeNardo, Chair of the Waterfront Festival Committee and Mayor of Watkins Glen. “We’re grateful for the support of local volunteers, businesses, the Tourism Assistance Program, and Erie Canal Pathways.”
