Reliant Credit Union launches contest to fight fraud with art

Reliant Credit Union has launched a new initiative to raise fraud awareness through creativity. The “Fraud Fighters Art & Meme Contest” invites community members of all ages to submit original artwork that highlights the dangers of scams and digital deception.

The contest, open now through July 31, encourages entries in the form of hand-drawn posters, digital art, or memes under this year’s theme: “Think Before You Share.”

“Our goal is to empower the community to recognize and respond to the ever-changing tactics of fraudsters,” said Pamela Heald, President & CEO of Reliant. “By tapping into the power of creativity, we hope to educate and engage people of all ages in a conversation about how you can protect yourself by limiting the information you share with others.”

Entries will be judged in three age groups: Youth (under 13), Teen (13–17), and Adult (18+). Winners will receive exclusive Reliant merchandise, and top submissions will be featured on Reliant’s social media, monthly newsletter, and in a virtual gallery on the credit union’s website.

To support participants, Reliant has launched an online Fraud Prevention Hub at www.reliantcu.com/resources/fraud-id-theft/. The hub offers scam detection tips, red flag warnings, and educational tools to help people avoid common fraud traps.

Submissions can be made online at www.reliantcu.com/fraud-fighters-contest/ or dropped off at any Reliant branch with a completed entry form. Full contest details are available at www.reliantcu.com/fraudfighters.
