State Senator Tom O’Mara (R-C, Big Flats) and Assemblyman Phil Palmesano (R,C-Corning) recently welcomed a 5th-grade class from St. Michael School in Penn Yan to the State Capitol. The visit took place on Thursday, May 16, in the Assembly’s legislative chamber.
The students, accompanied by their teacher Keith Prather, enjoyed an educational tour and engaging discussion with the legislators. O’Mara and Palmesano expressed their delight in a joint statement, saying, “It’s always great to see students and teachers from back home and to have the opportunity to showcase our historic State Capitol.”
