The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Roberto Lara-Gutierrez, 24, of Newark, following a traffic stop in the Town of Marion. Deputies pulled Lara-Gutierrez over for an inadequate headlamp and determined he was driving while intoxicated.
Lara-Gutierrez was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or greater. He was taken to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, where he voluntarily submitted to a chemical test, revealing a BAC of .16%.
Lara-Gutierrez was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Marion Court on June 5, 2024, to answer the charges.
