First responders from several departments were called to a barn fire in Cayuga County during the late-evening hours on Friday.
Jordan, Weedsport, Cato, Warners Memphis, Elbridge Fire, GBAC and Cimvac Ambulance are going to a barn fire on Slab City Road, according to our partners at the Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire.
The first arriving units confirmed a working structure fire contained to a barn. Crews worked quickly at the scene to take down the flames, but the structure suffered extensive damage.
No additional information was immediately available about the blaze.
