Jon S. Vandemortel, a 30-year-old resident of Geneva was charged by the Yates County Sheriff’s Office for driving while intoxicated (DWI) and additional offenses.
The charges, announced on March 29, come as a result of a vehicle accident that happened in Penn Yan on February 15 along Main Street at 6 p.m.
Vandemortel faces accusations of DWI, reckless endangerment, speeding, and failing to keep right.
Those charges will be answered at a later date.
