Tage Thompson’s four-goal game leads Sabres past Devils 

Tage Thompson scored four goals as the Buffalo Sabres got back in the win column with a 5-2 come-from-behind victory over the New Jersey Devils at KeyBank Center on Friday night. 

Buffalo (35-34-5) trailed 2-0 after 20 minutes, but Thompson scored twice in the second period and tapped in the game-winner with just over four minutes remaining in regulation before adding an empty-netter. His four-goal performance raised his season total to 26. 

JJ Peterka also notched his 26th, while Alex Tuch tallied two assists. Devon Levi stopped 28 of the 30 shots he faced.
