Waterloo barbershop celebrates move to Virginia St.

Leo & Tom’s Barbershop marked a new chapter with a grand reopening ceremony at their new location, 16 Virginia Street, in Waterloo on Monday. The event was a festive one attended by members of the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce, community, and the family behind the barbershop, showcasing strong local support for the business.

Established in 1971 by Leo, a native of Fondi, Italy who moved to the United States in 1958, Leo & Tom’s Barbershop has been a family-operated establishment for over 50 years. The barbershop, which has now transitioned to a third-generation business, continues to thrive under the partnership of Leo and his grandson Tom, maintaining a legacy of community service and traditional barbering.

The barbershop’s move to Virginia Street represents both a continuation of its storied history and a fresh start, promising to keep serving customers with the same dedication and craftsmanship that have been its hallmark for decades.
