Driver with suspended license due to DWI, gets another in Seneca County

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Fairport man following an incident in Tyre.

According to a news release, [REDACTED], 35, was charged with driving while intoxicated and a felony count of aggravated unlicensed operation.

A traffic stop was initiated after [REDACTED] was observed operating a vehicle with an obstructed license plate. After an investigation, he was found to be intoxicated and driving without an active license.

Deputies said his license had been suspended due to a previous DWI arrest and refusing to submit to a chemical test in that incident.

He was issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges at a later date.
