The town of Canandaigua, located in Ontario County, is taking a strategic approach to find its new town manager by enlisting external expertise.
They have decided to hire Ian Coyle, Livingston County Administrator and owner of Pracademics Partners, LLC, for $18,000. Pracademics specializes in enhancing performance and sourcing talent for public sector entities, non-profits, and educational institutions.
Coyle’s recruitment expertise is well-recognized in the region. He assisted with Seneca County’s search process in recent years.
This move comes after the departure of Doug Finch, who left Canandaigua earlier this month for a city manager position in Duncanville, Texas.
