Geneva man charged with felony DWI, leaving scene, evidence tampering after crash

Police say a 32-year-old Geneva man faces a number of charges after a crash on Genesee Street late last month.

Samuel Maisonet-Ramos, 32, was arrested for felony DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, and tampering with physical evidence after a crash on Genesee Street.

It was found that he was intoxicated during the crash; and that he tried to stop officers from determining who the owner of the vehicle was.

He had also been convicted of DWI in the last 10 years, which elevated the DWI charge to felony status.

Police didn’t specify any injuries in the crash.
