Under Varvayanis’s leadership, the BID board aims to foster economic development, attract investment, and bolster the business environment in Geneva. Price lauded Varvayanis’s skill set and anticipates fruitful collaboration in addressing the challenges and opportunities ahead. The board expressed gratitude towards Stivers for his service and optimism for the direction Varvayanis will steer the organization.

Varvayanis, with a background in lowering taxes and improving financial health as the town supervisor in Dryden and a passion for architectural preservation, brings a wealth of experience to his new position. His contributions as a real estate investor and chair of the FLX Chamber, combined with his recognition as BID’s Property Owner of the Year, signal promising prospects for downtown Geneva’s business community under his guidance.
