The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Auburn man following an investigation into a violated court order.
Austin Deal, 35, of Auburn is accused of violating a court order by contacting a protected party.
He was incarcerated at the Cayuga County Jail at the time of the incidents, according to the sheriff’s office.
As result, Deal was charged with aggravated family offense, as a felony, and criminal contempt.
Both of those charges will be answered at a later date. Deal remains detained at the Cayuga County Jail on unrelated charges, deputies said.
