Deputies say one man is in custody after a dangerous road rage incident involving an Ontario County man.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Matthew Wayne Johnson, 40, of Canadice for menacing, reckless endangerment, and endangering the welfare of a child.
The charges stem from a road rage incident that happened at the intersection of Johnson Hill and South Old Bald Hill roads.
Johnson is accused of operating his vehicle recklessly, nearly striking the victim’s vehicle head-on from behind. The victim’s vehicle also had a 4-year-old child inside it.
Johnson later displayed what appeared to be a handgun at the victim.
He was taken into custody and held at the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment.
