New York was held to just three hits, one of which was a two-run home run from Ronny Mauricio, his second of the season.
Jose Butto made his eighth start of the season, allowing four runs over four innings while walking two and striking out five. Grant Hartwig allowed the other run while Anthony Kay and Trevor Gott recorded scoreless appearances.
The Mets will get the day off Monday before they begin their final homestand of the season on Tuesday against the Miami Marlins.
