The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department apprehended Nicole R. Tratt, 44, of Auburn, on August 25 following her involvement in a burglary at a local residence.
Tratt faces numerous charges including second-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal trespass, third-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny, and obstruction.
The investigation revealed Tratt had unlawfully entered a residence, where she caused damage and attempted theft.
She was also found to have broken into two outbuildings, damaging them and taking items from within.
After being discovered on the property by the homeowner, Tratt was promptly detained by authorities. Her subsequent uncooperative behavior during processing resulted in the obstruction charge. She is currently held at Seneca County Jail, awaiting CAP arraignment proceedings.
