A home robbery near the intersection of Orchard Street and James Street prompted Auburn Police to tell local residents to shelter-in-place on Sunday.
The incident, which took place around 4 p.m., saw law enforcement swiftly respond, subsequently detaining individuals they described as “person(s) of interest.”
Authorities later assured the public that the situation at the residence had been resolved and there is no ongoing threat.
The brief shelter-in-place advisory was lifted after the police took control of the situation. Further updates on the case are expected.
