State police say the deputy superintendent of the Auburn Correctional Facility was involved in a road rage incident in the Southern Tier, and now faces serious charges.
Gregory Stachowski, 40, of Big Flats was arrested for a felony count of grand larceny and misdemeanor count of official misconduct after state police responded to a complaint near I-86 and State Route 13 in Horseheads.
He’s accused of being part of a road rage incident, which was followed by the larceny of the victim’s cell phone.
