Gregory Stachowski, 40, of Big Flats was arrested for a felony count of grand larceny and misdemeanor count of official misconduct after state police responded to a complaint near I-86 and State Route 13 in Horseheads.

He’s accused of being part of a road rage incident, which was followed by the larceny of the victim’s cell phone.

Stachowski is currently the deputy superintendent of Auburn Correctional Facility, police said. He was transported to state police headquarters in Horseheads for processing and released on an appearance ticket.
