Retirement doesn’t mean finished with Yates County.
At least not for Nonie Flynn, who last winter announced that she would retire this spring from county government.
She’d served as county administrator since 2019. Now, she’s running for Yates County Legislature.
“I’m ready to serve in a different role,” Flynn told Finger Lakes News Radio.
Part of her goal of running for legislature involves continuing to be part of the many projects she helped facilitate as county administrator.
