On February 6th the state police out of Auburn responded to a report of an assault on Pople Road in the town of Victory.
The investigation revealed that Christopher M. Laframboise, 39, of Weedsport, had attacked a resident with an edged weapon multiple times, causing serious physical injury.
Laframboise was arrested shortly after the incident, following a vehicle and traffic stop on Egypt Road in the town of Conquest. He was charged with attempted murder, a class A Felony, and second-degree assault, a Class B felony.
The New York State Police were assisted by the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office in this investigation. The case remains under investigation, and further details have not been released.
