A car crashed into a house along Route 38 in the town of Victory on Sunday evening, forcing authorities to close the road while emergency crews secured the property and removed the vehicle.
No one was inside the home when the crash occurred, according to Green Gator News. The driver was not believed to have suffered serious injuries.
The Victory Fire Department responded alongside the Conquest Fire Company, Cato Fire Department, CIMVAC Ambulance and a Fair Haven fly car.
First responders secured the scene and worked to stabilize the house before the vehicle could be removed. Route 38 remained closed during the response.
Law enforcement officers also assisted at the scene. Additional details about what caused the crash were not immediately available.
