Police: Penn Yan man attempted to bribe witness testimony

Police say a Penn Yan man has been arrested after an investigation in Yates County.

Matthew Nowicki, 33, of Penn Yan was arrested on five felony counts of bribing a witness.

He’s currently an inmate at the Yates County Jail, authorities said.

Nowicki is accused of attempting to bribe the testimony of another person in Yates County Court.
