The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-and-run that happened on Ridge Road in the town of Huron early-Sunday.
According to deputies, around 1 a.m. it was reported that a person was laying in the roadway. That person, according to witness reports, appeared to have been struck by a vehicle.
The male victim, who was not identified, was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital.
No additional information was available.
Deputies said in a release they were assisted by Wayne County ALS, Eastern Wayne Ambulance, North Rose Fire Department, and New York State Police.
