Deputies say a Palmyra man was taken into custody after a domestic incident on January 10th.
Scott C. Chappelle, 39, was arrested by deputies after the incident and charged with criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to deputies, the charges stem from an argument Chappelle was having with his 17-year-old daughter. During that argument, it’s alleged that Chappelle picked up a folding table and threw it into a television that was mounted on the wall.
The television was damaged.
The incident took place in front of Chappelle’s 5-year-old daughter, deputies added in a release.
He was arraigned at the Wayne County Jail and will answer the charges at a later date.
