The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Farmington man following a traffic stop.

Christopher White, age 24, of Farmington was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The arrest followed a traffic stop on Collett Road early-Sunday. He was found to be in possession of crack cocaine, deputies said.

White was released on an appearance ticket and will answer the charges at a later date.
